Cloud Destinations is embarking an expansion plan to APAC market to begin with Malaysia. Company has just opened its sales office in Kuala Lumpur and has plans to expand business locally. In line with this vision, Company is seeking to onboard sales professional with the following skills and experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated L2 Technical Support Senior to join our on-site team in Kuala Lumpur. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in network management, server infrastructure, and system diagnostics. As a key member of the technical team, you will oversee critical system upgrades, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless operational continuity. Candidates who are available for immediate joining will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled on-site firmware upgrades, capacity planning, and hardware inspections for anomalies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and provide detailed documentation.
• Escalate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve and optimize issues.
• Support new and ad-hoc deployments or system migrations.
• Monitor infrastructure health with tools to track, resolve issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
• Contribute to budgeting and procurement for storage and networking hardware.
• Manage shift rosters to ensure continuous team coverage and operational efficiency.
• Analyze, assign, and resolve tasks or incidents based on priority, severity, and categorisation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field with 3 to 4 years in network management, server infrastructure, storage and system diagnostics.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in networking technologies (VLANs, subnetting, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, Layer 2/3 switching).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade switches and routers (e.g., Huawei S12700E).
• Familiarity with network management platforms like Huawei iMaster NCE or similar tools.
• Expertise in server management (Linux/Windows), RAID configurations, and storage networking.

Specialized Skills:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve sensor-related issues, including calibration and system integration.
• Experience with AI model integration and backend systems for data flow optimization.
• Competence in disaster recovery planning, including tools like snapshots, replication, and cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, RMiT) and conducting vulnerability assessments.

Certifications:

CCNA, HCNA, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.

Additional Skills:

Strong analytical abilities, report generation, and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations.
