Cloud Destinations is embarking an expansion plan to APAC market to begin with Malaysia. Company has just opened its sales office in Kuala Lumpur and has plans to expand business locally. In line with this vision, Company is seeking to onboard sales professional with the following skills and experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled L2 Technical Support Engineer to join our on-site team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for a professional with 2+ years of experience in network management, server infrastructure, and system diagnostics. You will play a vital role in maintaining system performance, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting deployments to ensure seamless operations. Candidates who are available for immediate joining will be given priority.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled upgrades, capacity planning, and root cause analysis (RCA) & Resolution for incidents.
Escalate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve and optimize system issues with proper documentation.
Support new and ad-hoc system deployments or migrations.
Monitor infrastructure health with tools to track, resolve issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
Provide inputs for budgeting and procurement of storage and networking hardware.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field with 1-2 years in network management, server infrastructure, storage and system diagnostics.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in networking technologies (VLANs, subnetting, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, Layer 2/3 switching).
Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade switches and routers (e.g., Huawei S12700E).
Familiarity with network management platforms like Huawei iMaster NCE or similar tools.
Expertise in server management (Linux/Windows), SSD, HDD, RAID, and storage networking.

Specialized Skills:

Competence in disaster recovery planning, including tools like snapshots, replication, and cloud-based solutions.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, RMiT) and conducting vulnerability assessments.
Experience with AI model integration and backend systems for seamless data flow.

Certifications:

CCNA, HCNA, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.

Additional Skills:

Strong analytical abilities, report generation, and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations.
